Most residential and commercial fence installs are finished in one to three days, depending on the fence, the lot, and the weather. If a permit is required, that depends on the city, and we help you sort out what the local building department wants before posts go in.

Western red cedar
The Pacific Northwest classic. Naturally rot-resistant, with a clear grain that weathers in this climate.

How much does a fence cost?
It depends on the material, height, length, and the ground. We do not publish a price list. The estimate is free for residential and commercial projects.
How do I find the property line?
Start with your survey. If the pins are missing, hire a surveyor. We build to the line you confirm so the fence does not start a boundary argument.
What lasts longer, wood or vinyl?
Our fence FAQ lists wood at about 15–20 years with maintenance, and vinyl or metal at 20–30 years or more. Cedar is listed separately at 15–25 years. Real life still depends on sun, soil, and whether the wood gets stained.
